Also hardo from Germany is back? I thought Merkel locked you up for not drinking your daily soy quota?
I love this guy. Don't really agree with much of the stuff he says, but it's quality to watch.

As someone who's recruited in both NY and London for roles, I've found that the BBs are relatively the same in terms of interviews, but the technicals for EB's in London are much harder. I think it's because they have a tendency to use case studies to show technical ability, which requires a lot more actual calculation and analysis than just memorizing the technicals from the M&I guide.
Itws in the UK for SA positions are more technical because a lot of candidates have degrees in finance and one or multiple internships past them. For example, most candidates from French universities already have 6-month IB off-cycle internships when they apply for SA in London.
Have had a lot of finance questions at LDN EBs, but wouldn’t say they were “hard”, e.g. if you can’t give an EV formula or say how EV or WACC moves with leverage, sth is wrong with your preparation..
case studies were mostly business sense
the most technical interview I’ve had was for a BB FIG team
Had to do assessment centres in UK for BBs but I heard my friends in the US that they didn't have that process
