Depends on the fund. I believe GS PE typically coinvests alongside megafunds while MS usually does MM LBOs on its own. The work itself and interview process will be very similar to regular PE and comp should be a little lower (maybe $225-$250k all in)

Have an interview with MS tomorrow, would you have any more info on them (e.g., do they promote or is it 2 and out)? Would it be possible to move from a BB fund to an independent fund after 2 years if desired? Thanks a lot
