Differences in career path between MM vs Megafund PE?

Hi everyone:

I was wondering if those in the industry could shed some light on the difference in career path between MM and Megafund PE please? I have heard some people say that megafund PE is more structured /less entrepreneurial, one would have to bide their time there; whereas MM might be more entrepreneurial and has slightly more upward mobility. Would love to hear your view on how these two career paths differ!

Also, do these two career paths tend to work out better for people of different personalities? What's your observation been so far?

Thanks!
