Different email for referral as compared to the application
After networking with an employee at a BB, she referred me to the firm. The problem is that while applying, the bank asked me to use my personal email address (non .edu) but the employee referred me using my .edu email ID (I got the email notifying me of the referral at my .edu email). This happened 2 weeks back (The same time I finished my hireview) and I still haven't heard back from the firm. Is this email mishap causing a problem ? if so how should I fix it ?
This really isn't an issue - you're talking about a minor email mix up. Just email HR from your personal one saying that Person X referred you via your Uni email and forward them the email you got to that account. All will be fine.
The bank I applied to is JP Morgan. I couldn't find a HR email nor do I have a recruiter contact. Should I just leave it the way it is ? It shouldn't pose a problem right? If not do you have any other way to solve this ?
