Director of Hedge Fund in NYC--what to say?

Guys, so im going to be having a phone informational interview with a director of hedge fund in NYc...I have seldom idea about hedge funds, but i dont wana come across as an idiot..im hoping for a bankiing internship next year, but im keeping my options open hence the hedge fund comes into the field..any suggestions on how can i brush up my info regarding hedge funds, what to ask the director, and what not to say? thnx guys

know your general hedge fund strategies. (event driven, macro, emerging market, special situations, etc..) Ask about how they make their money, what is their AUM, future plans for firm.

Always good to know the current economics, you can ask how the fund views current government fiscal policies, how is the financial reform affecting his/her fund, also you can generally comment on what he/she says with current happenings.

Dont talk about hiring procedures, specific open spots (unless he/she alludes to it first), etc,

Good luck!
