Disney Real Estate Analyst Interview
Hello Everyone, I have an upcoming interview in Disney's Real estate department. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience in interviewing/working in for Disney in regards to their real estate. In addition, is a position in their real estate department recognized in the real estate industry?
Thanks.
Maybe someone else will be more familiar with this, but do you mean Walt Disney Parks & Resorts? Anything development-related?
I would need more info. Normally, corporate real estate is not something that our "best and brightest" would pursue. Analyzing bank branch leases for the CFO of Capital One (just an example) would be pretty dull shit.
Definitely need more info, it'd be helpful if you could even just post the primary job responsibilities.
But as far as industry recognition goes these positions are definitely seen as duller. REITs seem to like guys that come from the other side of the table, but Disney's real estate is in such a niche I have a hard time seeing how the skills would transfer. I work at a large retail REIT for example, and many of the upper-level dudes at our company came from a background of being the real estate development/deal rainmakers for years at retailers. Obviously if you can get involved in the development aspect it will help a lot, but otherwise I'm not sure how you'd be seen coming out of there.
Hello thank you for replying. it is for this position
