Do diplomas and certificates from Online Ivy Leauge courses hold any good?
Hi, I was wondering if courses provided by the likes of eDX and Coursera with Ivy League certificates any good and can be used for Job search?
I have seen schools like MIT, Harvard and othe top colleges offer such online programmes I want to know their relevance in a job search context.
HFT, bummer your thread hasn't had a response yet. Sometimes bots are smarter than humans anyways:

You're welcome.
Hate to say it, but those certificates don't mean anything because anyone can take those courses. The value lies in what you actually learn from the coursework, not in having an Ivy brand name attached to an online certificate.
the value lies in the eyes of the person hiring, and what you learn
They can be a minor differentiator if you're advancing your education within a year or two of undergrad. However, they provide no value for industries like consulting, IB, other high finance. They can detract, rather enhance, your resume for the most elite jobs.
They can, however, provide a way to validate a poor UG GPA for b-school apps, if the classes are quantitative.
Coursera and edX? I would say no. Been there, done that, no recruiter is impressed by MOOC classes.
A program from Harvard Extension School that you have to pay thousands of dollars? Not sure. I'd still say that they are not helpful for high finance/consulting recruitment.
Autem nobis est magnam odio sunt. Minus vel recusandae reiciendis et quo.
