Do firms usually reimburse SA for monitor?
Moving to a different city for my SA and didnt want to bring my monitor on the plane. The internship will be half virtual so I def will want a monitor while WFH. Curious if people have had experiences with this. Also is it realistic to ask the firm to let me borrow a monitor from their office? Thanks in advance.
My guess is that if IT has an extra monitor, they will let you borrow it for the summer, but highly unlikely they will just reimburse you for one you purchase if they also give you a laptop.
It should be explicitly outlined if they are or are not. If you're unsure, just ask HR. Usually, if it is though, they let you know...
