It's true. This forum has a heavy focus on stats but remember that the individuals making the admit decisions do not work in finance. 80% of 750+ GMAT scorers were dinged at Haas this year.

Simply put, you've got the right to play at the table. Whether you've got a hand that'll win, that's up to how you play what you've been dealt. Those stats put you in solid contention. But you're not the only person out there with a fancy job, good degree, and a solid GMAT. Once you get past the initial hurdles, it all comes down to the details. Things on the margin you think might not be a big deal suddenly become really important! So as someone opsdude1 mentioned, it's all about execution!
