Do offers actually get rescinded? Should I be worried?
Back in the fall, I accepted a B4 consulting offer for post-graduation. This semester has been rough (I'm in 4 very difficult major classes), and I had a death of a close family member during my midterm week. I am in one additional class that is a business degree requirement but it isn't a major core course, but I think I'm going to get a D in it. I will have A- grades in all my other classes most likely. I'm kind of panicked about having my offer taken away. The contract has some vague language about "satisfactory academic completion", and during a discussion with a recruiter she said that the firm likes to see candidates get Bs but she acknowledged that the firm knows that seniors typically have hard schedules. However, no firm grade cutoffs were communicated. My GPA will be around a 3.55 after the D. This job was difficult to get, and I'm just worried about losing it.
*Also wanted to add that the D is passing at my school and won't hinder my graduation.
