Do tier 2 consulting firms look at GMAT scores?
The business school that I am pursuing has really strong ties to tier 2 consulting firms (think places like Deloitte and PwC), my question is do these schools look at GMAT scores in their recruitment process?
I am trying to decide if I should study for the GMAT or the GRE. After looking at both test, I believe I can perform better on the GRE. The school I am interested in told me they do not have a preference of one over the other.
No. GMAT/GRE just helps you get into a good business school; something they will look at. It wouldn't add much value to look at it anyway. They'll gauge your numerical skills based on your other grades and interview cases. Plus, those tests are standardised whilst consulting as a profession is anything but.
