Do you talk to analysts at other HFs?
Curious if other people discuss ideas and vet things back and forth with a network outside of their own firm or have any feedback on this.

Career Resources
This happens all the time, both formally and informally.
It's a must.
There are even buyside idea groups that meet (pre-covid) and do round robin pitch sessions.
Talking names and exchange notes via each person's buyside network is an absolute must in the HF world.
Usually, but D1 and Melvin definitely don't talk to each other ... anymore.
What happened? Plotkin on the “all the glitters pod” said they were friends plus they both have stakes in the Hornets
Any suggestions on getting into these groups?
