Do you use a lot of commas?
Some writers say to use as few commas as possible but whilst reading Obama's book his writing style seems to insinuate the opposite.

I frequently use commas, almost in every sentence.
Only when citing my net worth.
,I, ,n,e,v,e,r, ,u,s,e, ,c,o,m,m,a,s,
I use them in moderation.
If you have too many: your sentences will feel choppy. If you have too few: your sentences will make the reader feel out of breath.
For the most part I only use1-3 per sentence, if I use them at all. Commas tend to be overrated.
I do use a lot of commas, namely because they imply a pause and that helps the reader get a better idea of what you're emphasizing. I'm naturally a decent writer, but the naturally great writers who have developed their writing ability can get just about any idea across with little or no use of punctuation (excluding at the end of a sentence).
