I haven't downloaded it so no promises on the quality of the link. Best I could do.
I've got a copy of it but expect monetary compensation.
Fuck off. If you're not willing to help without being greedy then gtfo.
The book is $28 on Amazon, how much of a cheapskate are you?
Did you find Oil 101 anywhere?
The rapidgator link seems to be working pretty slow.
Buy the book seriously. The world would be a better place if more concepts were explained with such depth and clarity as oil was in that book.
@GoodBread: Is it really that good?
I write equity research for a living right now and everyone who has read my stuff tells me I'm a good writer. Not compared to this guy. I absolutely inhaled that book, it's incredibly well written considering the subject matter. A model for non-fiction writers I would say.
It's 30$ on Amazon Prime right now--I'm sure that's less than your typical weekend bar tab. Save your eyes and buy the book.

Hey guys, does anybody here have a pdf copy of Oil 101? I accidentally deleted mine facepalm and google, as well as search here hasn't been much help. Got a bunch of HF/Trading books left here so if you want to trade for it, just let me know. Either way I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Go to your recycle bin and retrieve it. Pls don't tell me you PERMANENTLY deleted it :|
I did man, fucking genius move on my part.
Oh well, was hoping to pull an IP here but I guess I have no choice now. Heh. Thanks anyway guys!
I have been looking for this book for weeks and cannot find it = /
Just ordered this book 2 days ago...just bite the bullet and buy it. B&N has free shipping on it.
This but Amazon
If anyone has this, I'm willing to trade too. I've been looking lots for this book. PM me
LOL,
I just became aware of this book yesterday and I am looking for it too. If anyone has a PDF version that they're willing to share I'd really appreciate it (and I'd throw some SBs your way). Otherwise, I'll probably bite the bullet and buy it on Amazon.
I tried to find the PDF for a while but never could so I ended up just ordering the book. Definitely worth it if you are on the fence about it, excellent book that taught me a ton about oil markets and oil in general.
I tried looking for the pdf quite extensively and I'm convinced that a pdf version doesn't currently exist. I might just buy the book as well.
It must exist if the OP had it originally...
The author hasn't even published a Kindle edition of the book. The only possibility that a pdf copy exists is if someone were to scan each page individually and upload them in a compiled pdf.
Looks like it's time to just buy it.
^Kudos to you for finding it in the first place. I was convinced that the ebook doesn't exist in the first place as it is quite hard to find.
Haha. Yeah, I know man. And it's just my luck that I ended up deleting it lol.
who cares about the pdf. this book is 100% worth purchasing. best thing i got myself during my time as the junior guy on a crude trading desk.
Just got it, finishing Barbarians at the Gate before moving to this
okay, so I just got the book...
although I haven't gotten to the markets part (just finished the chem chapter)
It seems like way to much information for trading oil...
He mentions that some traders call certain byproducts by names according to their carbon count (propane is c3, etc.) does anyone have any experience trading oil - do you guys really mention propane and other products like butene so much so that you use the nicknames.
I wasn't aware that these products even traded. Care to enlighten a total beginner...
Currently trading at a major oil house. You should read/understand all of that book. Pretty much all of it is essential to trading. And yes we use more technical names (carbon counts for light end products) especially when talking to refineries.
No one really use the exact chemical names but those products definitely trade, depending on what part of the desk you are on. Oil 101 is a pretty good book and all of it's relevant in one way or another to oil phys trading.
Knowing all that info is just the tip of the iceberg. The more you know the more profitable you can be.
torrent it
if anyone could send the book in pdf to me i would be really grateful as where i live i can't get english books readily and ordering is taking a week :( need the book urgently

You accidentally perm deleted a valuable pdf?
I would advise you to stay AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE from the trading floor. "Umm, sorry, no I just sold 1 million barrels maybe. like probably brent. hmmm, actually not sure of what and I don't remember the guy's phone number. Or I bought. I wanna say I BOUGHT."
Buy a new one, do not steel. The author worked hard for it to make this book available. Best regards The author of "The oil traders words" www.woenzel.com
this book is awesome, it easily pays for itself.
Ditto, just buy the book--it's 30$ or so and all you university monkeys can get it in 2-days with Amazon prime.
