This article talks about an occurrence somebody had where they got 1 single call on their landline of the course of multiple months. It talks about landline going obsolete very quickly.
- What are your thoughts on landline phones? Anybody still got one? I know my parents still have one so their parents and other old relatives can contact the house. Do your parents still have one?
Most likely to become obsolete for the normal family as millennials and the new generation always have their smartphones on them. My parents do still have one though
Yes. Basically another way for my wife's friends to access her.
No

I have a landline and I still use it. I can't think of any reason why I prefer using it at home instead of my cellphone, but I do.
Yes- a lot of my friends and family still call me on my home phone. I sometimes give my home number to places I don't want to call me on my cell. Prefer not to be accessible 24/7.
I got TWO phones, one for the BITCHES, one for the DOUGH.
