Does passing CFA® Level 1 and 2 or demonstrating that one is working towards the CFA help with Masters application?
Hello guys, I have a question and was wondering if you could aid me...it is regarding MFin application.
If you state that you are working towards CFA® Level 1 and 2 in your Masters application or better you have already passed both levels, will this in any way help with your application (increase the likelihood of receiving an offer or is this seen as meaningless)?
From my research on WSO it doesn't help with MBA but I am not sure about Masters.
Any contrbution is appreciated...
yes but it's industry-dependent. CFA for IB is probably less useful than AM.
Yes, I heard that, too. Thanks a lot.
It should help somewhat. The Masters program I will probably apply to next year operates in partnership with the CFA institute. So the coursework parallels the CFA. In that case it'd definitely be looked upon favorably.
Even if the program doesn't operate in partnership with CFA, I found it hard to to believe it'd be viewed unfavorably. So I'd definitely mention it imo.
I will be a little reserved over this one: Does harvard/yale/princeton stuff necessarily link to CFA institute? passing CFA levels are impressive. having some CFA-partnered programs is a joke. I know my school does too but nobody gives a crap.
CFA progression 100% helps with MSF applications.
Yes, the above is entirely true. but who the hell finishes CFA III just to take a MSF program?
