There was a 2019 FT application on their website that closed back in April.
Yeah they do but it's mostly invites through networking from what I've heard!
Yes they do and their app for full time closes June 1st. Spoke with HR since we are non-core for them
any word back?
Has anyone gotten or heard of FT analyst interviews?
As far as I know, you have to have networked extensively with a lot of people at Qatalyst to be in their mind when a summer analyst that got an offer didn't decide to take it or if they decide they need to hire 1-2 more analysts because of increased business.
EDIT: I have heard this through the grapevine but I have not had personal experience with this. Wait for others who may have had personal experience to answer your question more thoroughly.
They hire a bunch full time for whatever reasons - from what I understand, there are just as many people joining FT as SA->return offer (a quick LinkedIn search would validate this). A lot of people who intern elsewhere in SF tech IB break in FT.
Just to add, Qatalyst almost exclusively recruits at Berkeley/W.
They do not aim to recruit for FT, but they sometimes have to.
..
Not sure why he's getting monkey shit. Like the info isn't untrue, Q usually hires one person from Ivey every year
yea, b/w are major feeders at Q, but there also a bunch of people from duke, stern, and brown (to a less extent) and Q is gradually expanding its ocr to those schools.
Q used to recruit from b/w, they expand the number of schools they are recruiting as they expand the size of their intake. Not saying that they do not recruit at other schools.
Yes, currently going through their FT process.
From one of the above schools?
No, T100 non-target.
They will almost 100% have a spot open for 2020 FT as they hired a Canadian SA but with the new visa problems probably won't be able to convert him to full time
they are not screwing that canadian person. They will be sponsoring FT
Except that getting a TN visa as a Canadian has gotten a lot harder, at the end of the day there's nothing they can do if you get denied entry into the country.
