Does the exchange have an impact on recruitment?

Hello ! I will make an exchange in January, and I would like to know if the university where we go matters in our CV. I have the possibility to go to St. Gallen in Switzerland which is (I think) the best university there, IE Business School & Icade in Spain and (maybe) Imperial in the UK, but I would like to discover other cultures and landscapes than European ones, such as Japan, Korea, Australia etc. So given that I'm not in a target school (at least for BB and EB in France) and semi-target for BNP, Soc-gé... I would like some advices about what should I do ?

Should I make an exchange that might boost my CV (I don't know if it has a real impact), or should I go to a place I would like to discover ?
