Does work permit in a country affect my employability chances

Hello everyone
I posted a while back on which masters to undertake but now I have a new issue.
I went to university in Europe, and I'm currently pursuing a masters degree in Finance at ESADE Business school (top tier business school in Europe). I only have the american passport, and thus when I graduate, I would need a work permit to work in the UK but I wont need one to work in the US.
Now my question is, should I still focus on applying to UK because my business school is known and its a regional one (europe) or should I apply to US firm for analyst IB positions? Reason why i'm asking is because target schools for us firms are always IVY leagues. Anyone in a position of recruitment at any boutique or BB IB firm please advise as I have to submit my applications within 2 months time.

Thank You

I have no prior experience, will finish my masters at 21 year old, and have a work permit for the middle east and USA, not for europe but studied in UK and Spain for uni. So where should I focus my applications.

Thank You again :D I will apply to middle east, main question is about EU or US.
