Double-emailing MD?
So a few days ago, I had a coffee chat with an alumni who's MD at a large MM. He asked for my resume and said he would slot me in for an interview. I emailed him within a few hours, thanking him for speaking with me and attaching the resume. I haven't received a reply yet, should I email again or just pray things work out? My application still says the status is new.
I would just send a follow up note expressing your interest in the role. In many cases he's just been really busy and your note got buried. Following up generally is a good approach, but maybe wait to hear from other folks who chime in.
Got it. What is generally the best time to email an MD?
I've usually found luck emailing people in the morning or during "lunch" 11:30 am to 1:00 pm because they tend to open non-work related emails then.
