Drugtesting

Hi all,

In 1.5 month I will start an internship in New York. The last time I used (recreationally) drugs was with New Years, and I was out of the country (Amsterdam) and smoked pot. I read up on different drug testing methods, and I am a bit worried about the pot showing up on it. I am not going to use any drugs, and haven't after New Years. What do you guys think?

Will depend on the potential employer and whether they want to be sticklers. Theoretically, they can require whatever test they want but I doubt they will go that route unless they have concerns. You are in college afterall... they need to be realistic.

I've only been drug-tested once and it was the pee test. Next time, it's going to just be easier not to smoke for a few months when you know a drug test is coming.

if you're gonna do it, buy one of those detox drinks and follow the directions (get something like this http://www.detoxforless.com/pass-a-drug-test/detox-drink.html). they can usually be found at any smoke/head shop too. im not recommending it, but you could definitely smoke up to a week before your test. on top of the detox drink, drink as much water as you possibly can the week before and buy cranberry pills from gnc or something (much more concentrated than cranberry juice--cleans urinary tract).

I think if you smoke you might not enjoy it because you will be thinking about your test. Let your friends make fun of you, drink a beer or take another shot. you have worked your whole life to get this offer. Take your drug test, pass it, then celebrate with a blunt. These detox things will make you feel like crap, and may or may not work. weed hangs around longer in some people because the way the body stores it. It is up to you, but my opinion is better safe than sorry. good luck

If you go to your local GNC store they sell a detox drink that will give you clean piss from 1-9 hours after you take the drink. A couple of my friends have used it and it worked for them everytime. I was told that they only keep it behind the counter, you have to ask for it. It works even for the heavy smokers.
