my bad you're in S&T? i thought you were a banker making some smart ass comment. I really do want another monitor is why, but getting pushback from the IT guys with 17 blackberries on their hip
I do not know of any laptop that has the capability of driving two lcd panels. Some can drive 30" displays though, which in my opinion beats dual screen in most cases.
people pick what they want, but new analysts/associates get laptops at training
i just hope i get to a point in my life where i don't really need a computer other than for e-mail purposes. it would make traveling easier + all i'd need is a Blackberry.

my pricing sheets take up three, outlook reuters and bloomberg are another two and then there's some free space.

What kind of actual hardward setups are you guys using other than monitors? Is a laptop the industry standard or are most people using desktops.

Do most BB Blackberrys have phone and email service or just email. The bank I interned at last summer only had blackberrys with email service.
