Duke MS vs Rochester Simon MBA $$$

I've got admitted to Duke Ms Quantitative Management (no $) and Rochester Simon MBA ($$$)

End goal is to work in an investment bank front office. Open to a bunch of different paths.

Please advice which one would place better.

International student so not sure how recognisable is Simon MBA..

Thanks for the reply!

Really? Simon website states like 93% placement rate at average 120k before bonuses.. around 40% is in finance.. the ad com said they place mostly in new york..

Post MBA FO street standard is 150k, that right there should tell you that most are going to either commercial banking or MO/BO roles.

Simon would be a waste of your time. Are you open to analyst roles? As mentioned, that is where MS programs tend to land.

If you are on the younger side (

How much work experience do you have? Duke MS will most likely place you as an analyst but it is tougher as I think it is a 1 year master, so you don’t have a chance to summer.

For MBA associate IB positions your chances drops off a cliff as soon as you pass the t15-20 programs, especially if you don’t have work experience before the program.
