Earlier or Later Superday?

smaller bank I'm interviewing for has given the option for a superday next Thursday or Friday, is there any harm in choosing Friday? HR told me all decisions will be sent out by Friday as they only hire very few analysts. Or should I be choosing Thursday so I can make an earlier impression? I know it doesn't matter too much but just wanted to hear general thoughts

I wouldn't try to read between the lines here. If you are a good candidate, they'll extend an offer to you whether you interview on Thursday or Friday.

That said, if you'll be ready by Thursday, tell HR you'd like to do it on Thursday or that you can do either day. If you feel like you can benefit from the extra day, then schedule it for Friday.

thanks! why though? if decisions are made friday, wouldnt you want to be more clear in the interviewers' minds?

If they liked you enough on Thursday, they'll have noted it down already. Go with Thursday and get it over with. And suppose everyone replied Thursday--you wouldn't want to be the one person left on Friday.
