Earliest time to float your resume around for a new job?
I've gotten mixed feedback on this, as I recently started throwing my resume out there for "feelers." On one hand, most people think anytime from 9-12 months after starting your new job is fine while a few have suggested closer to 18 months. I'm talking about applying, not starting a new job, as a job search will usually take up to 6 months.
Is this your first role out of school / within the company?
I am at my first full time job out of school and I am doing 6 months at the gig. I am not learning much and it is toxic here. If an employer inquires I will just be honest. Not to hijack your thread but does anyone have advice on my situation?
