same boat
What office did you apply to?
East coast, likely similar offices to you. Have you heard anything since applying besides the test?
Same boat, but I think Eastdil doesn't send out rejection letters so you can't really ever know.
I asked them for accelerated interviewing because of an exploding return offer and they did not, their recruiting timeline seems to be over about a month.
wow, what did you end up doing? how did the offer compare?
I went with the exploding return offer. An offer in hand is always better than a potential offer you're interviewing for. Other offer was at a BB lending role, which I was perfectly happy with. My first round interview with Eastdil for their SF office didn't go too well anyways because I got sort of nervous and choked on some basic questions so I doubt that I would have gotten the offer. I do remember that interviews with them were different than a lot of the other places I interviewed at. It's not enough to just say you're interested in real estate because it's tangible then answer some questions about cap rates and DSCRs, they hold a higher standard and ask a lot of more conceptual questions. I remember one question that sort of threw me off guard was about what your favorite real estate development is and I answered Taipei 101 I think.

Has anyone heard from the SA in SF?
Had a first round about 3 weeks ago then no contact after that.
