Edinburgh VS Nottingham
I earlier asked a question about UK tier 1 semis earlier, however I wanted to get more detail about Edinburgh and Nottingham. As this will be my No.2 and 3. after Warwick. I really like Edinburgh, the campus and everything but I don't think it places well into IB. Looking through Linkedin I found many more Nottingham students placing into the current summer analyst cohort, especially at Lazard. Compared to Edinburgh which I couldn't find many. Is there a reason behind this, or is Nottingham a much better school to get into IB.
Alumni in BBs as % of current student body:
Edinburgh: 3.1% Nottingham: 3.6% Oxford: 10.7%
It appears Nottingham places slightly better than Edinburgh in London BBs. If I had to make the choice however, I would go to Edinburgh - it’s a really fun city.
thanks for the reply, where could I find these stats for other universities as well?
On Linkedin, just set the search filters to search for [insert uni name] students now working at xyz companies.
