Effects of extending my graduation date?

Currently a sophomore at a semi-target considering delaying my graduation date by a semester. My ultimate goal is to get into a top B-School and was wondering if extending my grad date by either taking a semester off or just taking some additional classes for a semester has any adverse effects on acceptance likelihood. For context, I am a non-diversity candidate currently with a 3.97.
