Electrical Power/Energy Engineer to Power/Energy Trader

I am currently a thesis masters student in electrical engineering specializing in energy and power. My research entails risk management in energy trading, focusing on price risk, when energy storage systems are incorporated into the electricity market. I was hoping to see if I can get some guidance into how I could start a career in energy/power trading and if there is a place for someone with an engineering degree within the industry. I'm thinking about obtaining a second masters in finance, but hesitant to make such a decision before I get more information. Thank you for reading my post.

Hey nemanja, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I'm here since nobody responded to your thread! Bummer...could just be time of day or unlucky (or the question/topci is too vague or too specific). Maybe one of these topics will help:

Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
