Emailing CIO I've met in unusual circumstance - should I mention this in the email?

Hi guys,

I am preparing some cold emails to send out to smaller firms in my city to try get some spring/summer work experience. Of course this is dependent on the coronavirus situation but still figure it's worth a shot. Anyway I was about to email the CIO of an AM in my city, and I realised that I actually met him a couple of summers ago when I was working a summer job in construction - we worked on his house. Should I mention this in the email to try 'break the ice'? I also thought about putting the work with the construction company on my CV so that if he sees it, he might make a connection to it. Not sure about that one because my CV is one page full with more relevant stuff than spending a summer as a builder. Any advice?
