Energy trading resume review

Hi all-

I am looking to get into power and natural gas trading. Currently, I do risk management consulting in power and natural gas. Also, I have been trading natural gas futures for about two years.

Here is the link to my resume:

Dont feel the need to put your gpa on your resume.

He's been out of school since 2007.

Hence why I countered GS's assertion that you would need to put your GPA on there, saying that he shouldnt feel like he needs to put it on.

Market collapsed after the first job so wasn't sure what was going to happened with job, therefore, I left and went into different field. I hated it after few months and got back into energy and I have been here since.

Hi Energy Trader,

Thank you very much for your feedback. This is very helpful.

When I talk about liquidation cost, I am talking exiting current hedges. I deal with endusers so sometimes they have to get out their power blocks or natural gas hedges early so we have to come up with valuation on it.

Also, I know historical congestion doesn't tell you much about the future congestion. But based on historical trend, we can develop a block purchase strategy for clients. For instance, the congestion in JCP&L, BGE and Pepco zones tend to be very high than other zones, therefore we try to analyze pricing at WH and Zone when we are doing hedges.

i am just not sure why people put on languages that are obviously their mother tongues but have nothing to do with the job at hand. if i am hiring for MBB and farsi or mandarin or russian is useful, great, but unless your counterparties are going to be talking some moon man language that's wasted space.

that is all. carry on.
