Enron: The Smartest Guys in The Room

very nice documentary.

I'm pretty sure 90% of you guys on here saw it already but for the remaining 10% here it is.

I didn't really know much about this scam/heist whatever you want to call it until recently (I'm a freshman).

feel free to post opinions

Thanks

I watched this as an undergrad too. A really excellent documentary that I would recommend to any business major. The games that were played with CAs energy grid were unbelievable...

It was an excellent film and everyone should definitely see it. While Enron was full of fraud, a lot of what happen with CA energy grid was caused by inefficiencies of CA own design. The film makes it look like the power companies were only to blame when in fact there were other market forces.

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."
