Entry level or Associate after some work experience
Hello,
I have a background in Engineering and Economics, I wish to transition to banking after some time working in industry.
I am 26, and I finished my master's degree four years ago. Should I apply for an analyst or associate role? What would be potential income in both cases, as I would like to avoid paycut?
Thanks
Bump
thank you. anything more constructive?
Nope
You're not going to be able to get an associate gig without going to bschool and no banking experience. What have you been doing the last 4 years? I think bschool is probably your best bet and then transitioning into an associate role..
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't associate an entry level position in Equity Research and analyst is post-associate level?
