Entry Level PE Pay
Hey guys,
I might get lucky and have a stab at GS PE internship, which if I do well, will work out for a full-time offer.
J/w what the typical starting salary/bonuses (if any) are. The salary database only has info on IB. Thanks in advance.
PE at goldman falls under the IM division. If they post those #'s, youve found it.
depends, is it for PIA or the fund of PE funds business? If its PIA (the PE fund within merchant banking that does most of the LBO deals that GS does) you will get banking + a little extra you first two years. Don't know about fund of Pe funds in IM, will be less though
Thanks, it would be the fund of funds group.
Where can I find the IM salary charts? Thanks again
Expect 60 base 20 bonus.
PIA analysts get banking + a little extra? That's interesting. What is a little extra (10%?)? Why would they base it off banking as opposed to other pe shops / group performance? It sounds as if PIA analysts and associates get paid less than other mega funds with less capital (TPG, Bain, etc.) Interesting.
