I ordered a laptop on Cyber Monday to take overseas with me, but they told me that my order had been backordered and then it was canceled. I wrote an angry email to the CEO of Best Buy, and I got an call from someone who apologized. But it is unlikely that I am going back to BB to buy electronics. I would rather use Newegg.com

I ordered a Mouse from BestBuy last night. Shipment was going to take couple of weeks so I decided to do a store pick up. I get an email same night saying my order is ready for pick up.

After going thru the shitty holiday traffic, I show up and this lady at counter promptly tries to find my $12 mouse. Well she can't find it (apparently it was ready). She goes on the floor looking for it. Comes back, goes to the back, comes back out. Looks at the computer. Goes, looks at the closet or whatever. Comes back. Looks at computer. Goes out to the floor and finds me one.

Some 25 minutes have passed and at least 10 of them asked me during that time if I have been helped yet. It'd probably take me 3 minutes to just go get it from the shelf instead of ordering store pick up. If it was my Airlines I'd have wrote a nasty email and bag 10K miles or something, but I don't think BestBuy cares.
