Equity linked Securities - help

Fellow Monkeys!

I'll be interviewing for a position in the Equity Linked Securities team (within Capital Markets) that does origination, execution, pricing and structuring of such offerings. It is an entry level position and I've been doing some research into the markets, valuations and pricing. I wanted your take on things I should talk about in my interview that reflect interest/enthusiasm in the markets(should I talk about German yields, Russian bans and their effects?) and this role? I have a finance background and I've been looking up the securities that fall under this umbrella but would still be great to hear any insights you guys have that may give me more depth?

Thanks!

Be able to talk about the following

how to price a convertible bond how to delta hedge a convertible why do issuers use convertibles what sectors drive issuance in convertibles name some recent notable deals what is the accounting for a convertible bond what is a convertible preferred stock and a mandatory convertible how big is the market and what has been annual issuance trends

bonus question would you prefer to be long gamma or short gamma in a delta hedging position
