Equity Research in Indianapolis?
Is Indianapolis a viable place to find a quality equity research associate position right out of college (buy side or sell side)? With Indy being one of the smaller markets, did not know if this would be possible. From what I have researched, most people start in a larger market and gain experience, then take jobs in Indy. What firms would you recommend targeting in Indianapolis? Also, how is the pay and hours compared to a larger market like Chicago? Appreciate any feedback.
I would recommend leveraging your proximity to both Chicago and NYC.
