equity research modelling(excel) and written test

Hi all. I am going to have an ER modelling and written test very soon. I have searched over the forum and found some useful info. However, in terms of the excel test, i still have very few clue about what it's going to be. My background is non-accounting and I'd say i didnt know how to do the financial modelling before... Could someone PM me with some modelling examples/templetes that i can practise steps by steps, or at least know what i might be facing? Thank you so much... I am reallly anxious right now...

You're good, you got this far so you have solid credentials. There is a solid chance the modeling portion is accounting heavy as they want to test how much training is necessary... I cannot post links as I haven't posted historically. However, look at WallStreetPrep building a DCF model (2 parts) on YouTube. Also, look at integrating the 3 financial statements video posted by "josephlaurent".

If you are interviewing for an industry specific shop as I recently had, know the industry terminology. I had heavy excel work involving industry specific jargon... Integrating 3 financial statements into a DCF should be the most complex thing you see.

You'll do fine, good luck.
