Ernst and Young Management Consulting
Hello all,
I was wondering if you could provide some insight about the Management Consulting business in Ernst and Young. I am considering a Senior Consultant position in a risk advisory group, and I was wondering where an opportunity like this fits in the grand scheme of the consulting world. Is a position like this well regarded enough to lead into a similar position at MBB? What are other potential exit opportunities like? Thanks in advance!

Anyone?
Seriously, nobody? I don't have long to make a decision, and I would really appreciate some input. Thanks!
Doesn't sound like true management consulting to me, more like risk/audit with a fancier title. ::Shrug:: could be legit, don't have any experience with it.
how did you even find any positions in consulting with ernst and young? i am very interested in their healthcare consulting but it is near impossible to find any positions with them or talk to anyone regarding their healthcare consulting. do you have a contact i could talk to?
consultant09 - thanks for the reponse!
consultant87 - It was quite unexpected actually. I work at a top notch risk management consulting firm as a Financial Engineering consultant. The hiring manager from EY saw my profile on linkedin and approached me for the position. It's a considerable pay increase. I'm only concerned about the long term and exit opps into other firms or industries. It must sound crazy, but my goal is to be a PM for a global macro HF.
If you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you do as a Financial Engineering consultant Princeali?
