ERP Designation for O&G Analyst??

I'm really interested in the O&G space and thought this program would be interesting. I know the program will be more focused on risk management but will it be helpful at all if I were trying to get into ER covering O&G?

What kind of experience do you have so far? Technical experience like engineering/geology are by far the most useful, or quality field experience. Or at least have a role that has some technical exposure. ie. I'm a business analyst, so I handle the financial side of all our treatment designs which is about as technical a finance role will get.

I don't know much about the ERP, but it sounds like it requires lots of direct experience/knowledge of the sector. So if you can pass that requirement I'd guess the ERP would be unnecessary to begin with.
