ESOP Advisory or TAS/FDD for eventual pivot to IB
Hi All,
Thanks for any input as I am trying to decide between an opportunity in ESOP advisory or Transaction Advisory Services. The TAS role would be purely FDD, while the ESOP role would involve valuation and drafting CIMs as a lead advisor.
Both TAS and ESOP roles are from non Big-4 accounting firms. Comp is higher on the TAS role by a decent margin.
My ultimate goal is to pivot into M&A IBD though a T15 MBA although I think there is a slim chance I can network my way in without one.
What role would you take and why?
Thanks all!
