Euronext Internship or Full Work Experience at a Wealth Management Firm
I recently landed a position with a wealth management firm. This definitely wasn't my goal, as I have been trying to break into a BB or even a boutique. However, I have no prior finance experience. I graduated last December with a solid GPA but from a non-target school. So, when it is time to try again with BB and boutiques, would it look more appealing that I had job which requires Series 7 licensing (could look good on the resume) or take an internship with Euronext (more recognizable/respected)? I was also considering the fact that I could network a hell of a lot more at Euronext, but I could be wrong. Also, the job is in Long Island vs. Euronext which is in Manhattan, which I live closer to. Let me know what y'all think. Thanks.
Job->Top 30 MBA where you network like hell-> MM IB
what r u doing @ euronext
Boutique* seems to be a commonly misspelled word on WSO.
Sounds like the Euronext is a better opportunity....but if you could provide details regarding the position maybe we could be of more help.
Not experienced here but think about timing as well. FT IB interviewing happens in the fall so maybe going to the internship and leveraging this can help you...
