Is this for New York? When did you hear back for the superday / when were your first rounds? Congrats!

bumping this... also have one coming up and not sure what to expect. Don't think there's a case study but heard mix of technical and behavioral

What did they ask about it? Did they mix in stub period with it or did they just want you to define mid year discounting?

Funniest

Suggest answer to mid-year discounting: you should first pause, lean back ever so slightly, start nodding your head, just barley almost crack a grin, but quickly suppress it into a pout/grimace-type lip movement as you now slowly lean forward, continue to nod head. This makes you appear confident in your understanding while also humble and thoughtful in your response. Then you deliver, "Yes. Once a year, on the last day of June, Costco discounts every item in store 50%" This should lead to a no-further-questions-your-honor kinda moment.

Any idea if Evercore and EBs in general ask brainteasers? It doesn't seem v frequent based on interviews in the database and general experience- seems like they just hone in way more on accounting/finance.

Had a friend who had their superday today. Was wondering how it went for anyone else who had it today.

Thought it went alright... more technical than i expected. How did your friend say it went? Was his/hers really tecnical as well?

The contrary actually. Very resume based, very conversational. One room's conversation was entirely about a deal and an industry interest in fact. Did you have to deal with standard technicals or was it the typical off the guide M&A and accounting stuff.

Ah damn- that's great, though. I think mine was really similar to my first two rounds which were really abstract technicals. I assume you were well prepared w/ the deal and industry stuff?

Hey fellow monkeys, I haven’t heard back and it’s been about a week so I’m gonna call it in. Prob got rejected and I’m feeling pretty trash rip. Hope you guys have better luck, much love

Anyone have a superday today? Just had mine. For some color for others, some people said the superdays for them were very conversational and resume-based. While this was true to an extent, I would also continue to prepare technicals, as most interviews still had some tough technical questions mixed in.

On another note- anyone know how long it typically takes to hear back?

Final interviewer told me to expect them today evening at the earliest
