You're going to be doing a ton of admin like retracting docs (names of LPs in auctions), building teasers to show to secondary buyers, reaching out to GPs for buyer approvals, reaching out to buyers for NDAs to be signed and solicit interest in deals and then pass off.

It isn't glamorous work and it also isn't "investment banking".

A buddy said got hired just before covid started and said they did a three round process. All interviews and no tests. Might have changed since then. It's really a relationship management role with a lot of admin. If you're likeable and good over the phone then you are leaps and bounds ahead of the quant kid that they don't want or need.

If you still haven't done a SD, you are probably out. I am sorry
