Exit ops from agency lender?
What would be the exit ops from an agency lender like Greystone, Wells, Capital One, Berkadia after 1-3 years? How would this experience be viewed by a top MSRE program (MIT, Columbia, Cornell)

Career Resources
Underwriting, production, etc - what are you doing at your firm? Answers may depend on that.
Exit ops will be better at a traditional bank as opposed to a greystone. But again would depend on the type of work you are doing.
Are you on a deal team or are you on the back-end of UW before submitting to the agencies?
If you're on a deal team, then the common exit would be either a) move up to producer or b) exit to owner/operator client. If you are doing UW, then I'd say exits would be to more UW related positions, possibly production/originations, not too sure though. Most UW's I have worked with usually have done it for many years and would say it's their career.
These are good firms, clearly the type of role matters a lot, but generally good places to start a career. All the MSRE programs you reference would likely view this type of experience as very good for admission (this is a low bar, admissions teams don't really know/rate/rank firm names, they look at titles and duties to see how "legit" the job was).
