Expectations for a 1st round interview for an analyst role at a distressed debt shop
As per the title I am preparing for the 1st of potentially 3 rounds for an analyst position on a distressed debt team. This role would be working in an equity capacity (would join a team of high yield and legal analysts) on deals over $500mm for a financial, software and data company (think Bloomberg but focusing on restructuring and distressed). This job's duties are mostly financial modelling and research report writing. As I prep to meet with a director and a handful of analyst for the 1st round, what should I expect as each meeting is schedule for 30 minutes each? Per speaking with human resources, there should be a case study and presentation of my work if I get to the later stages of the interview process!
Thank you in advance!!
