Experienced options prop trader looking for a company to back me.

Does anyone have any experience with submitting a business proposal for an experienced trader position. I've been a prop trader with a small group for the past 5 years and wanted to branch out solo, but still need a backer. I'm not really sure how much detail to include in an email as far as past performance and capital needs. Also, do you know of any companies in Chicago that provide backing to traders of US Treasury options?

Thanks! I submitted one to Belvedere, but I think I was too vague. Didn't include specifics in the email, just more of a general intro with my resume. In hindsight that was a mistake. I thought there would be a follow-up where I could go over my past performance in more detail, but I received a generic rejection letter instead.

I'll look into Gelber, thanks again for the info!

1) how much risk were you taking to make that 500k ?

2) assuming conservative margin requirements, how much capital would you require to make the same PnL assuming similar market vol?

3) what was your avg daily PnL volatility 4) what were your top 5 largest gains and losses ($$ and % AUM) 5) largest drawdown streak (trades / timeframe / $$ / %)

Essentially...imagine you were considering hiring you...what questions would you ask to understand all the possible downsides and risks.
