explaining a 2 year absence
When I graduate I've decided to spend a couple years pursuing a non-academic (creative) ambition...so I'd be living on inheritance money and any money I can make from this pursuit...essentially being self-employed for 2 years. How much would that diminish my chances of then getting a job as an analyst? I know I'd have to explain my two year absence from work/school but would it rule me out of a position at a BB? (considering I have a high GPA from a semi-target school).
I think you should do it the other way around.
