Extracurriculars for MSF Applications
What are some extracurriculars that would improve my applications for pre-experience Masters in Finance programs?
I was part of the Finance Association, Economics society, and Investment club at my university. Also played on the university hockey team. Would these count or be considered good? Would volunteering for something outside of school be better? Say Habitat for Humanity or a cancer society? Any other things that would look on positively?
Thanks

So I don't know how it works in the US but for European MSc programmes, the following ECs look good:
1) Finance-related extracurriculars to emphasise your interest in finance outside of the classroom E.g. Committee position or Analyst / active member within your university's finance society, finance-related articles written for student business newspapers
2) University involvement to show that you will be a valuable member of class E.g. Departmental course representative / ambassador / open day volunteer, any non-finance society committee position
3) Other ECs that show you have been able to maintain a certain grade whilst multi-tasking a lot of other side activities E.g. Sports, volunteering, anything else
