EY Finance Consulting - Thoughts?
Hey guys,
I was curious to know if anyone here has had any experience with EY Consulting, specifically in their finance consulting practice? I have a contact there and likely a great shot at getting an interview there as an experienced hire. (Just over 2 yrs in corp fin). Does anyone have any thoughts on this part of EY? Comp figures? Thanks!
Bump, anyone?
Since you're coming from industry, likely you would start as a staff 2 (1 yr experience). Pay would most likely be between 55-70k based on what your location would be. Growing incredibly fast right now
I agree with the above poster. EY FSO is a very strong group withing EY and in financial consulting in general. Some areas within FSO will give you a base even higher than 70k coming out of undergrad.
My biggest advice is be sure you understand the type of projects and rle in the Finance group. Lots of Big 4 have "Finance Consulting" but you won't do any finance or corp fin type work - it will able neprojects for the Finance department/CFO. so lots of financial system integrations, process improvements, change management type of work.
I've known many that have misunderstood, so just my 2 cents to make sure you're not going to enter something thats 100% different from what you want/are expecting.
